A design for a branch of the Los Angeles Library at a site on Vermont Avenue, the form derived from a modular system. The modular system consists of a hexagonal grid, each module characterized by clerestory windows forming skylights. Reclaimed wood and sheet metal are the primary structural elements, along with stained glass windows.
