Median Housing on Broadway

This project is located on a roadway median on Broadway nearby the intersection of the 110 and 105 freeways in Los Angeles. Housing units are suspended over the ground level to create an open ground plane and preserve trees existing on the site. On the rooftop is a series of public gardens for growing fresh food, along with planters on lower levels and hanging vines bringing greenery throughout the building.
